Career Atlas

Change the axes. Watch the careers rearrange. Pick a dot to inspect the numbers behind it—and open the full profile. All points are real records from the 250-player prototype cohort, through 2020.

Reading the map

One dot per eligible player's recorded career through 2020. Hitters need 1,000 plate appearances; pitchers need 300 innings pitched. Both axes use actual career totals or rates as labeled. Scales adjust to the selected cohort and metrics. These are not all MLB players or complete current careers. League-relative indices use Claude's stated formulas, not OPS+ or ERA+. The chart does not infer causation or predict future results.

Receipts: Data: Claude's imported 250-player Lahman/Databank cohort. Fields calculated by apps/profiles/js/core.js. Select a player and use their full profile's Receipts panel for formulas, qualification rules and data coverage.
